Technical Summary
The Human Systems Department (AIR 4.6) has the responsibility for the development, integration and execution of Human Performance requirements associated with Training, Human Engineering, Aircrew Survivability and Habitability, with special emphasis on the integration of these elements with the other domains of HSI (Manpower, Personnel, Safety, Occupational Health). RED-INC assists with the identification, development and implementation of Human Systems Integration analysis and design solutions for various Naval Aviation weapons systems, Airship integration programs and various special projects including Naval Special Warfare, Flight Deck Crew Equipment, Combatant Craft Integration of Aviation HSI technologies, Aviation and Ships Manning, Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Ground Station HSI, UAV Flight Operations, Human Effectiveness RDT&E Network Architecture, Advanced Maritime Technology Center development and operation.

Technical Summary

In support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), RED-INC supports special missions related to Irregular Warfare. RED-INC provides expertise in acquisition, engineering, analysis, development and integration of warfare systems into specialized weapons for time-critical missions. RED-INC performs rapid prototyping, rapid integration, installation and rapid acquisition of weapons systems, subsystems, support and spares. The specific support required by this contract is in specialized, classified mission areas involving irregular warfare and requires extremely fast turnaround to meet Special Operations schedules and objectives.
