F-35 Cockpit Equipment Layout and Lighting (CELL) Lead Engineer
Location: This position is primarily on-site at NAS Pax, with situational telework available as approved by management.
Research and Engineering Development LLC is looking to fill a part-time position for F-35 Cockpit Equipment Layout and Lighting (CELL) Lead Engineer. The Position shall be responsible to be independent and responsible for planning and coordination, preparation and dissemination of project test documentation; Such as schedules, data acquisition, data downloads, equipment installation and test, equipment modifications to ensure customer requirements are met and/or exceeded. Review of data to determine that the documentation required for each phase of test and project execution meet detailed test plan requirements. Shall be responsible for analyzing and managing test plans, test results, support plans and results, executive support summaries, systems plans and any other necessary documentation as deemed necessary in the execution of their duties. A successful candidate will be responsible for F-35 Cockpit Equipment Layout and Lighting (CELL) engineering.
The candidate shall have at a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering related field. Senior level candidates shall have a Masters Degree in an engineering related field and experience in the performance of the duties as described above. Experience and working knowledge of F-35 program engineering tools, strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
This part time position offers a salary of approx. $101,000+ per year annually, depending on experience. There are no benefits packages associated with this part-time employment.

Research and Engineering Development LLC, in support of the NAVAIR Human Systems Engineering Department (HSED) located in Patuxent River, Maryland, is seeking an immediate fill for an Information Assurance Computer Specialist / Systems Administrator. Duties include:
The successful candidate will have hands on familiarity with networking and troubleshooting both hardware and software issues; be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Operating Systems. Ideally, the candidate will have experience or exposure to VRAM, DADMS, and EMASS, as well as experience with VMware VSphere and Linux Red Hat operating systems. Candidates shall have knowledge in credentials and PKI, Risk Management Framework as well as knowledge of installation, configuration, administration, and Security Technical Implementation Guides. Senior level experience as Systems Administrator is required. Computer Environment Certifications: CISSP, Security +, Network +, Project +, A+, MCP, MCTS are required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field with 10+ years of experience is desired, Candidates must have excellent computer skills, be a self-starter, and work well in a team environment. Candidates must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings/briefings as necessary. U.S. Citizenship and a current security clearance are required, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
This position is located at on site at NAS Patuxent River, MD and offers a salary range of $152,000 – $156,000 annually, depending on experience.
