Location: Remote
Research and Engineering Development LLC is looking to fill a part-time position for subject matter expert to provide Consultant Engineering support to the Human Systems Department. This position will contribute to programs focused on the development and enhancement of survival vests, clothing systems, and related Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS).
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide consultant engineering support to ongoing Human Systems Department programs.
· Support the development and engineering review of the VIPER survival vest system.
· Participate in the design, evaluation, and development of new ALSS systems.
· Collaborate with program teams to ensure design and performance requirements are met.
· Perform other related engineering tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline and 20+ years of experience.
· Experience in human systems integration, survival equipment, or ALSS development preferred.
· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must have an active, secret level security clearance.
This part time position offers a salary of approx. $75,000 per year annually, depending on experience. There are no benefits packages associated with this part-time employment.
