Must have experience in C#, C++, Java or other Object Oriented language. Experience with 3D game engines (Unity, Unreal, CryENGINE) and/or augmented/virtual reality development. RED-INC is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Human Factors Engineer position.  The responsibilities of this position include ensuring the design of the software and hardware user interfaces meet the Human Factors Engineering (HFE) principles, guidelines, standards and the best practices identified by the military.   The ideal candidate will have experience in applying HFE principles to product development and integration, developing and executing user evaluations, documenting research findings and will have a high level knowledge of design principles like usability, industrial design, simplicity.  This position will be responsible for balance cost, schedule and performance of the product from the HFE perspective; will identify and develop HFE requirements that meet customer and user needs; review designs for compliance; conduct user testing, interviews and observations; develop HFE deliverables documenting design and engineering decisions and user evaluation outcomes.

A Bachelors degree in Human Factors Engineering, Human Systems Integration, Cognitive Psychology or related field and a minimum of two to six years related experience is required.   Masters or other related advanced degree beneficial.  The candidate must have strong communication skills, highly motivated and have experience working on cross-functional teams.  Experience in JIRA, Slack, Google Apps is desirable.  Experience working in or with military teams, applying military-specific HFE principles to product development and integration, military/DOD acquisition, research, development, test and evaluation process as well as virtual or augmented reality, machine vision and/or camera systems is beneficial.  U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.  Apply below.



Research and Engineering Development, LLC, in support of the Human Systems Integration Department, Naval Air Systems Command located in Patuxent River, Maryland, is seeking an immediate fill for a Junior to Mid-Level Information Assurance, (IA) / Cyber Security, (CS) / Systems Administrator, (SA) Professional.

Provide oversight and support the establishment of IA/CS/SA test environments in support of vulnerability and accreditation testing. Provide oversight and support the preparation of risk analysis and accreditation documentation, ensuring documentation is prepared within given timelines, completely and accurately with all necessary materials. Experience with IA artifacts and tooling to include vulnerability testing and related network, system test tools and reporting tools. Ability to report status activities, risk, and issues to include mitigation plans and recommendations. Develop summary reports and track action items. Demonstrate prior experience and demonstrated success in systems engineering, systems integration and project management. Support development, review and management of project deliverables for Technology transition (i.e., Project Schedule, Concept of Operations, Body of Evidence, and Change Control Board documentation). DoD 8570 mandated system security certification compliant.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cyber Security is highly desired.  In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree successful candidates should possess 4-5 years of direct work experience within Information Assurance, Cyber Security or Systems Administration with documentable IAT Level II certifications.

Knowledge of Department of Defense 8500 Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.  Department of Defense 8570, Information Assurance Training (IAT) Level II Certifications are required for all successful candidates. Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures, the ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management, have excellent computer skills, be a self-starter, and work well in a team environment, is highly desirable and favorable.

Research and Engineering Development, LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst/Junior Contract Specialist to help administer various DoD contract types and provide financial analysis. Candidate will help track prime and subcontractor financial expenditures, ceilings, budgets, funding and mods; prepare financial reports and billing; perform financial analyses, and prepare monthly status reports and contract summaries.

Position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in Government contract administration. Experience with GSA contracts a plus.

Successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, as well as detail oriented analytical skills. Experience in Deltek Costpoint is desired.
