POSITION: Systems Engineer

RED-INC is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Systems Engineer. This position shall be responsible to be independent and responsible for planning and coordination, preparation, and dissemination of project documentation, such as schedules, data acquisition, data downloads, equipment installation, and modifications to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded. Provides introductory training as required to the fleet. Reviews data to determine documentation required for each phase of projects and applies knowledge of Human System Engineering processes. Analyzes any proposed changes of items under test to determine the effects on the overall system. The candidate will coordinate and manage modification records and configuration control. The candidate will assist in the technical development, review, and/or release of the following types of documentation within the Life Support and Physiological Systems Teams: Support Plans, Test Plans, Support Summaries, System Plans, and Navy Technical Manuals / Functionally Oriented Maintenance Manuals.
The successful Systems Engineering candidates shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or engineering field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, Senior Level candidates shall have a minimum of 15 years of experience in E-2 aircraft type equipment, oxygen systems, and other related life support and human systems equipment support, maintenance, and operational use and management within the Organizational and/or Intermediate Levels of Maintenance. Junior-level candidates shall have 0-6 years of demonstrated experience and acquisition support experience. U.S. Citizenship and a security clearance of SECRET or higher are required.
